P.V. Sindhu's childhood and early life :-
P. V. Sindhu's full name is Pusarla Venkata Sindhu was born On July 5, 1995, to P. V. Ramana, and P.Vijaya. P.V Ramana and P. Vijaya successful couple was born in Hyderabad. Both couples are volleyball players.
The Ramana ancestors belonged to the West Godavari district. He was born in Nirmal, Adilabad district.Ramana settled in Hyderabad for her volleyball career and got a job in railways.

The mother's hometown is Vijayawada. In 2000, Ramana was awarded the Arjuna Award. Though both her parents were volleyball players, but Sindhu chose badminton over volleyball in the spirit of Pullela Gopichand. By then Gopichand had won the All England Badminton Championships and was in the news. After inspiring from Pullela Gopichand, she eventually starting playing badminton at age of 8 years.

Sindhu's achivements :-
Sindhu became the first Indian to win a place in the International Badminton Federation's rankings on September 21, 2012. On March 30, 2015, the Indian government awarded Padma Shri to the Indus.
On August 18, 2016, she became the first Indian woman to reach the final in the badminton category at the Olympics by beating Japan's Nozomi Okuhara in the semifinals of the Rio Olympics. She became the youngest Indian to become the first Indian athlete to win a silver medal in the final. Saina Nehwal is the second player to win a medal in badminton after winning bronze at the 2012 Olympics.
She became the first woman to win a silver medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and the first woman to win a silver medal at the Olympic Games. The Telugu girl, who played at the World Senior Championships for the first time in 2013, has entered the world 12th ranked PV Sindhu sensation. Carter made it to the final by defeating a top-ranked Chinese player.PV Sindhu has bagged a second medal for India when India wins the 2016 Rio Olympics. In the women's singles category, they defeated Canada's Michelle Lee 2-1 and Hungary's Lara Sarosi 2-0 in the women's singles event.
