1. Statue of Unity 

Statue of unity is situated in Ahmedabad. On the occasion of the 137th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a statue of his statue was laid. This statue, which has been named the Statue of Unity, will be the tallest statue in the world. If the Statue of Liberty of America is coming to your mind, then let us tell you that this statue of Patel will be five times its height. The height of the statue will be 182 (597 ft) meters.

This statue of Patel will be built on an island in the middle of the Narmada River flowing in Gujarat, which will cost about Rs 2063 crore. Construction of this proposed statue will be completed in the next four years. Iron and concrete cement will be used in the construction of this statue and bronze coating will be done from above. This is the dream project of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and he has talked about collecting iron for this statue from across the country.


Iron will be collected from village to village for this statue. A piece of iron is being collected from a village, which will not weigh more than a kilo, so that the statue reminds the blood of the farmers to sweat and symbolizes the unity of the farmers across the country. The amount of iron collected from all over the country will be melted and applied to the idol. Farmers whose pieces of iron are not fit to be installed will be planted in the premises to be built around the statue. If it is less then iron will be taken from Steel Authority of India.

Along with this statue, under the Sardar Sarovar Nigam project, a 400 feet high deck will be built in the same area, where 200 people can stand together and enjoy this panoramic view. The view of Satpura and Vindhyachal mountains will also be seen from that deck.

Let us tell you that the tallest statue of Lord Bajrang Bali in India is in Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh. Its height is 41 meters i.e. 135 feet. This idol was built in 2003.

Statue of Unity: This statue of Sardar Patel will be 182 meters tall i.e. 597 feet. This idol will be built on an island in the middle of the river Malta. Its foundation stone was laid by Narendra Modi on Thursday.

3.Lekyun Setakyar
