Surya Kumar Yadav is a young and talented Indian cricketer who is quickly making a name for himself in the world of cricket. Surya Kumar Yadav was born on July 14, 1989 in Jamshedpur, Bihar (now in Jharkhand), India. It was his century in his first match of the world cup that helped India to win that match and set the tone for the tournament. This was just a sign of things to come, as he would go on to have a great World Cup and helped India to reach the semi-finals.

He showed his abilities in the longest format as well, with a hundred in his first test match, becoming only the third Indian cricketer to score a century on test debut in Australia. This was a great achievement, as he had to wait for his chance despite performing well.
